Hi all,
Can any on tell me that whether there exist some SIP stack those use
xml tags in messageing format. Because right now, As far as I know,
most of the intermediate infrastructure is using plain text for
request and response(without any xml tags). So if we use xml tags,
then there will be a problem in inter-operability.
So comments are welcome on this issue.

Hi, I am looking for a unified messaging service like K7.net but
hopefully does not expire after 1 month of disuse. Does anyone out
there have any recommendations for web/email accessible voicemail/fax
services? (preferably free).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers

I just upgraded our PIX515E to 7. and ASDM 5. since doing this it
will not let any instant messaging (AIM, Yahoo, MSN) to go through.
While some companies want to block these services we actually use them
for business.
I didn't add any rules unless one got added during the upgrade
process.

My new USB handset showed up so I tried a couple of Skypeout calls to
regular phone numbers. Ewww. It sounded really awful.
Is this the USB handset, Skypeout, or am I just unlucky?

He also posed the same question in a COMPLETELY unrelated newsgroup I
frequent. I've given him the benefit of the doubt and didn't plonk him
because he looked like a extreme newbie. But if he does too much of
this he will find his way to my killfile.

Even though he's dead it makes about much sense
to vote for him as it does for the choices
that we have who are living. At least he's not
going change his position on anything.
Also, just wanted to verify that you do have the fax keycode installed
on your BCM. Sorry I keep forgetting things.

I'm setting up some MCK voip gateway/branch units to extend our PBX over an
internet connection to a remote office. I don't need security, but rather a
point-to-point connection, where the branch unit is on the same network as
the gateway unit. Therefore, I need two hardware units pointed at one
another. I have a static public IP at each location.
Recommendations? Have I provided enough info?
thank you,
jm

Hi Jim,
I still prefer switching to a dedicated VoIP Box for your case rather
than using other general networking solutions.
Go for Quintum ASM-00 with x FXS and x FXO ports or ASM-400 for
higher density at each end, this all what you need.
