Hi there,
How would I go about finding to what port does the uplink port 48 from
a Dell 3448 switch is connecting to another HP 2824 switch through
switch commands? I am not able to track the cable between floors.
Thanks a lot, Calin

Also, looking at the spanning tree root might work, depending on
which direction the spanning tree is pointing.

If you are able to ping the Dell from the HP itself, then the
Dell's own MAC will appear in the MAC tables on the HP, associated
with the downlink port.
