If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
Can someone recommend a softphone that will let me use SIP to just dial
an IP
address?

X-Lite (or X-Pro) should let you do this, but I confess I've never tried.

You call 1234@10.20.30.40.

How does 10.20.30.40 configure his X-lite to
receive calls with the name 1234?
