11. Which of the following IP addresses fall into the CIDR block of
110.68.4.0/18? (Choose three.)
A. 110.68.8.32
B. 110.68.7.64
C. 110.67.6.255
D. 110.66.3.254
E. 110.65.5.128
F. 110.64.12.128

The answer given is as following, but I don't think they are right. In
my opinion, there are two right options A&B

B, C, E. A Class A network address with a /18 is 255.255.192.0. The
subnets in the third octet
are 0, 64, 128, 192. The network address in the question is
110.64.0.0, with a broadcast of
110.64.127.255, since the next subnet is 110.64.128.0. Answers B, C,
and E are correct host IDs.

18. You have a network with a subnet of 172.16.17.0/22. Which are
valid host addresses?
A. 172.16.17.1 255.255.255.252
B. 172.16.0.1 255.255.240.0
C. 172.16.20.1 255.255.254.0
D. 172.16.16.1 255.255.255.240
E. 172.16.18.255 255.255.252.0
F. 172.16.0.1 255.255.255.0

The given answer is E only, but I think A is right too.

A Class B network ID with a /22 mask is 255.255.252.0, with a block
size of 4 in the third
octet. The network address in the question is in subnet 172.16.16.0
with a broadcast
address of 172.16.19.255.

No, only E - check the subnet mask on answer A, it's /30

For the other one, yeh, only A and B look right to me

I am not sure where they got their answers for this. However I'm going
to agree with everybody else and say A and B are the only valid answers.

IP Address: 110.68.4.0
Network Address: 110.68.0.0
Broadcast Address: 110.68.63.255

I checked my subnet math against a subnet calculator and came up with
the same answer you guys did.
