Hello everybody,

As a newbie need your advice on ADSL VPN (ADSL modem router+Netscreen
5GT)

There had been a site to site VPN connection from another place to my
network but not documented, and now I need to enable multiple home user
to access some applications.

My site has one fixed IP address from a DSL connection using NetGear
DG632 ADSL Modem Router, behind it is a NetScreet 5GT firewall to
protect the trusted network.

Do I need to run a software VPN server? or just need to setup the
Router to forward VPN packets to the Netscreen, and enable my Netscreen
as VPN server?

In this case will any compliant software VPN client work?

Thanks a lot.

Let me answer myself (Actually, one of my friends from hometown) then:0

Netscreen supports VPN, so in theory it's possible to use XP VPN to
connect, however, you do need some more detailed guide, e.g.
certification configuration if you are using dynamic obtained IP.
