If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
What's the best way to monitor activity on a router on the fly -
buffered - for a specific IP?

Have started up "logging buffered debbuging"

"show logging" gives me everything, I just want to see one IP.

Have not set up syslogging yet on a UNIX box where I can grep for
things..

I would prefer to monitor outside the router with a packet sniffer. I like
ethereal.

'debug ip packet [access list #]' is your friend.
