What is the cheapest solution for bit error testing on any of the following
ethernet connections:

- 100-Base-FX (fiber optic 100 Megabit)
- 1000-Base-SX (fiber optic gigE)
- 100-Base-T (copper 10/100 Megabit)

I assume something like an ML-7710 card in a used Smartbits SMB-200 chassis
might be the cheapest way to go but would appreciate knowing about other
cheap alternatives, preferably ones that are available used.

If using something like an SMB-200, what does it cost to relicense the
software for it from Spirent?
