Hi

How many MAC addresses are there for the switch and router?
As many as the number of ports or just one?

Thanks

Switches that participate in Spanning Tree Protocol must have
a different MAC for each participating port.

Routers only need one MAC in theory, but are likely to have
one MAC per interface.

I've seen at least one router that used a different MAC for each
VLAN on a port.
