The analog two line phone would have two extensions 193 and 194. When
extension 193 is in use i need to ring extension 194. Hope this

We have two Sipura SPA-000's. Our pbx's are Merlin Legends. Merlin1 and
Merlin are in different locations. these locations are connected by a WAN
of relatively high bandwidth and low latency.
We would like to connect SPA1 to an analog port on the Merlin1 and SPA to
an analog port on the Merli
The Q.SIG is for integration with a trading turret system.
Thanks for the comments!
Being a Mitel engineer im a little biased but I think the Mitel CX
would be perfect. It has everything you would expect in a system and
more.

I'm trying to set up a Merlin 06 system. I need to know how to wire
the 8 conductor cable to the rj45 jack. The other end of this cable
will have an 8 conductor plug which will plug into the 06
unit. Thanks for any help. It would be helpful to know which color
coded wire goes to which screw terminal
Is there a feature within the Merlin Legend or Magix system that can
prevent the caller ID (DID line) from displaying when calling out,
specifically upon demand? Our users want to be able to turn off the
caller ID from time to time on specific calls.
What is the protocol used by Avaya IP phones to communicate with the
their server, I mean what is the protocol corresponding to Cisco SKINNY
in the Avaya world?

I've been having a problem with a Cajun Avaya P580 locking up. I've
swapped out the chassis, management engine, and all blades. So
essentially I've installed a new switch however, at random times the
switch will simply lock up.
I'm wondering if anyone here has run into the same problem.

Good morning to All
and to All Good morning!,
I was assigned to develop a test where I can test the 334t using smart
bits. Has anyone ever done this before?
I need to shutdown vlan to all ports. Is this possible?
Vous pouvez répondre en français aussi bien, pas problème pour moi.
Those in AFN and rec.ponds: I work for a living can carol do the same?

Now, for some reason I just assumed that you were talking about an
automated test... but I realize that you never said anything about that.
And you didnt say anything about your previous experience with the
SmartBits.
So, a more direct and correct answer to your question:
1. I haven't tested the p334t personally, but I have teste other
Ethernet devices. SmartBits would be one of several good choices, its
what its made for.
. This should be quick and easy to test, and is probably mentioned in
the manual.

First step would be to figure out how the device is managed.
If it is SNMP based, I believe the Scotty Tcl extension would give you
what you need (as long as you have the MIBs).
Else you need to look at the traffic between your management sw and the
device, and try to implement the necessary messages to do the work needed.
Other than that, it should be a walk in the park :-)
I've been involved in something like this using both SNMP and a
proprietary XML-based protocol. Works like a charm.
Now, whether it is possible to remove all VLANs on the p334t... I would
take a look in the manual.

Geir

Hi,
I have several Cisco 3750's being trunked into an AVAYA P33 Core. Lab
tests go great and all 7 vlans are interconnected.
Configuration is a basic..
switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
switchport mode trunk
Native vlan is 1.
Avaya is base dot1q - no leaky vlan configured
All etherchannels
There are no spanning tree BPDU's being sent into the network by the
mini-switch inside the avaya phone? If so this could influence the root
bridge. What about the PC attached to the phone? IS bridging enabled on
this PC? IF so it willsend out BPDU's.
It is VERY bad practise to use a plain
