If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
Does anyone know if it's possible to add an IP address to the system portion
of an ASA or FWSM for management? I suppose it really doesn't apply to an
FWSM since you session in to it, but since they both operate off the same
basic principal.

No. The management IP must be your "closest" interface IP,
unless you designate an interface as a "management interface" and
reach it via VPN.
