Can I upgrade my Cisco 2514 router to IOS version 12.4? If not, how
high can I upgrade it? How can I find out? The Cisco website just has
"support devices", but even though mine is not supported, I still
think I can squeeze it on there. Is this a bad idea?

There is no IOS 12.4 for the 2500 series. The best you can get is 12.3,
and pretty much all of those require that your DRAM and Flash is maxed
(16MB DRAM, 16MB Flash (2x8MB)). Futhermore, if your bootstrap is below
11(10c), then you cannot use AMD chipset flash modules, only Intel.

Regards
