To the digest's readers:
I've just gotten home from the hospital, so the digest hasn't gone out
for a couple of days. Sorry for the wait: I was taking out the trash
on Thursday night, and slipped on my icy stairs.
I spent Thursday night in the Emergency Room, and yesterday and today
in a room with three strangers while a lot of doctors and nurses told
me how lucky I am.
Nothing's broken, but I have a bruise on my butt that's the size of a
grapefruit, and now I've got to take it easy and wait for my body to
get back to its normal shape.
Please be patient; I'll do the best I can.
