If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
We use a utility called 'demime' here to convert bastardized
e-mail to plain text. A few users have it automatically set
up.

It uses lynx for the html to text function.

It also deals quite well with various text methods.

You might look in to this. Google 'demime' and you will get
many hits.
