Hi I've managed to lose the sticker on the back of a Cisco 1721 that
contains the serial number that I currently need to register it for a
smartnet contract.

I got the router new about a year ago and now I want to upgrade the IOS, so
I need to get a smartnet contract for it.

Is there a way to get the serial number required from the CLI of the router?

Thanks
Bob

Try "show version", "show diag", "show tech" -- one of them might
have it.

Try "show inventory". You may also want to have a look at
