I hear that the IEEE 802 meeting next week in Vancouver will have a
Call for Interest session to discuss possibly setting up a study group
to come up with a standard for copper cable used in Short Haul 10Gbps
applications - cable lengths of up to ~ 30 m. Wonder what that will do
to the IEEE 802.3an work in progress?
Thanks
