If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options


I have a Linksys BEFSR router.
Is there an application that will selectively block ports or MAC
address over defined time windows?

This is to help control WWW access to kids PC after hours vs manually
pulling the plug.

any thoughts?

I have the WRT54G and later firmware versions have included a QoS tab
that sort of does what you're looking for. If you aren't running the
latest firmware, you might try an upgrade to see if what you want is
there.
