Hi,

According to Cisco, using WCCP L2 rewrite with Mask Assignment load
balancing will give maximum performance. However, I need to stay with
hash load balancing. Would Mask Assignment gives significant performance
gain from the hash (XOR) load balancing? The hash load balancing
requires that the first packet from each flow goes through software
switching then subsequent packets go through hardware switching. Would
the processing of the first packet in the software switch path
significantly impact the overall performance?

Thanks
Supak
