Hi all,

I have a few Cisco 2960 24 and 48 port switches plus a couple of Cisco
3560 24 port switches. As part of our repair procedure for cold swap
we are looking at swapping over the flash memory from the potential
faulty box to the new box in order for quick config load. However, I
cannot seem to find any documentation about changing the flash memory
on these switches. Are they soldered in or are they removable?

Thanks in advance,

Chris

I'm not even finding an internal diagram of the devices. I would
guess this is not supported and may void a warranty, but depends if
you care about that or not (depends where/how you got the spares I
suppose). No clue if its soldered or not, probably have to open one
up and find it.

Everything is soldered on in on the 2xxx and 3xxx series switches from
Cisco. There are no field-replaceable parts on them.
