If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options


Terminate the shield at one end only. However, I have found it cheaper and
safer to just run two CAT 3 or better cables, use one for TX and one for RX.
Yes, CAT 3 meets the appropriate specs, but in real life I use CAT 5 or
better.
