Hello All,

I have a question on implementing T1 at our office. Right now we are
running DSl, but we are scheduled to have T1 Circuits brought to our
office this thursday w/ cutoff and activation coming in a couple of
weeks. The project coordinator I spoke to said that they will be
installing the T1 circuits at the MPOE and will be providing a
Netvanta 3205 access router. Is this all the equipment needed to use
our T1? is there no csu/dsu modem?

a broader question might be what is needed to implement T1 in an
office? We also are running a sonicwall tz170 firewall. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

The CSU is built in. This router should sit on the outside of your
firewall. All traffic will pass from the internal network, through the
firewall, and through the Netvanta router.
