S.i. Systems is currently looking for a number of Senior System Test
Engineers for openings with one of our private sector clients.
Senior System Test Engineer
Description:
The System Test Engineer will take part in the test planning, test design
and test execution for the router.
Requirements:
- Requires BSEE or BSCS with a minimum of 5 years experience in System
Test or Development Test
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP and related applications.
- Experience with network protocol testing is a must.
- Experience in writing test plans, test suites and test procedures at the
black box and system level.
- Thorough understanding of regression, integration, interoperability,
system level and stress/load test execution required.
- Extensive experience in testing one or more of the networking protocols:
BGP, OSPF, ISIS and MPLS
- In-depth knowledge of QOS implementations in Cisco and Juniper routers
- Experience in using traffic generators (Adtech, IXIA or Router Tester).
- Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills required.
- Should have experience with automated software testing as well as in
development of Network Test and Simulation software.
- Ability to develop automated test scripts in Tcl/Tk is also required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As a test Engineer, you will participate in the analysis, design,
implementation, and integration of system software and hardware. Primary
duties will include:
- Testing MPLS/RSVPiTraffic Engineering functionality of a core
router.
- Testing Quality of Service features.
- Developing functional and system level test plans, test cases, and test
scripts.
