If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
I have a Norstar remote Access Device, NT8B80AB which accepts a power
plug (RJ11) on the underside of the unit. I have found a power supply
for it from Northern Telecom - however I do not know and have not found
any documentation on the wiring of the plug. It is a standard RJ11
with only four contacts - ANY information would be greatly appreciated.

Hint;

Pretend that it's a station.

it connects the same as any other digital phone on the system.

It has been a while since I did Norstar but don't recall needing power.
Just need digital port and programming guide to set up.

It has been a while!

I haven't seen any of those port powered RADs in years.

Aren't those the ones that also had a station jack on them so that you could
run a set on the B2 side of the port?

It's called a Fastrad. Requires a power transformer. There is a small
round socket on same side as rj11. Rj11 connects to a digital port.
Setup 9** Transfer into RAD 9*0
