Hi All,

On the development platform I'm running into a problem where MAC
doesn't detect Los of Signal (LOS) link status on copper SFP when both
link partners are forced to 1000/Full (AN is off).
In the SFP documentation it's mentioned that LOS signal is internally
grounded in the SFP and the MAC should either watch incoming idles or
check PHY registers. I would like to get an explanation why MAC
doesn't detect the idles in this case.
Does anyone has a clue?

Thanks,
Andrew
