Hi,

I'm trying to setup a vpn:

A MS SBS 2000 (W2K Server + ISA Server) works as PDC, I installed a
Netgear FVS318 VPN Router. Dynamic IP, using dyndns.org account.
I'm trying to connect a XP Pro Workstation. On the WS I installed
Netgear ProSafe VPN Client (= SafeNet).
I managed the VPN client installation so far, the VPN clients connects
successfully!

But I cant neither ping the server nor connect to a server shared
drive.
I gave the WinUser the right to connect remotely.
What else is needed? Must RAS be installed on the server? Or is it
probably a problem with the ISA Server?

Can anyone please give some ideas what I do need to check within the
Server installation?

Thank you!!!

Check your permissions on the folders. Maqp folders by IP
If still having problems check your VPN client settings
