There was an excellent presentation last night, on the "Roofnet"
project that M.I.T. has been running in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

In light of the recent Philadelphia Inquirer article trumpeting the
danger of pedophiles using unsecured WiFi hotspots, I wonder if there
are other organizations doing trials with shared bandwidth, not only
WiFi, but with other physical layers as well.
