Is L2TPv3 supported on 3640 (IOS 12.3(14)T7)? I tried a test net with
two 3640s connected via a crossover cable. The tunnel seems to try to
come up, but never does. Debug commands haven't yielded much so far...

Thanks!

The answer is not within the hardware platform or the IOS version number; it
is within the IOS feature set.

The IP feature set of this IOS will not contain this feature. You need the
IP Plus, Service Provider, or Enterprise feature set. If you have a CCO
login to the Cisco website, use the Software Advisor in the software
download section of the support section of the Cisco website. This will
help you select the appropriate feature set for your requirements. If you
do not have a CCO login, consult a Cisco reseller.

P.S. IOS 12.3.14 T1 has been moved to deferred status due to numerous bugs
and errors. You should upgrade.
