Gang:

Anyone know what the maximum amount of time an interface could
transition from 'line protocol down' to 'line protocol up without
triggering a STP topology change notification?

Reason I ask, I have a gigabit interface that is connected to a Cisco
LRE CPE device that is transitioning from up-down-up at irregular
intervals. However, no topology changes are being recorded via the
'sh spanning-tree detail' command. Additionally, although we can
track the interface cycling on our end via the show log command, the
Cisco LRE switch shows nothing in it's logs.

Any assistance appreciated
