If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
What is the correct procedure to disable syslog service in CiscoWorks
(LMS2.5)? Disable the service through Windows services or can it be
disabled in the CiscoWorks configuration?

Hi
I think disable in Service Manager is the way, but if I recall correct, the
syslog service are used internally by CW aswell.
I wouldnt recommend disable syslog service - Why do you wanna do that ?

We wanna run third-party syslog service off the same machine.
