Hi!

I'm unsuccessfully trying to get vpnc working on my Debian-stable machine.
Normally I'm connecting to my provider by using pptp. I have been able
to establish a tunnel to my VPN host (i.e. I can login and tun0 shows up,
if I type "ifconfig"). The problem is, that I can not ping any host (e.g.
www.google.com), in other words, http does not work. I have tried to
change the default route ("route del default; route add default tun0") as
well as changing the DNS-servers (to the one of my VPN network). Without
success. Any suggestions?
In this spirit
With thanks for your efforts
Yours Gernot
PS: I am not a real network expert, so please forgive "my simple
formulation".
