We have VPN 3002 routers to access our main server. There is an access
database whose front-end is on the users that connect through the VPN.
For them to access the app. the IP address of the server his hard coded
into the source code at the user level. Now the IP address is about to
change because of a move.

Is it possible to have DNS resolution on the private side of a VPN
connection so that user's machines can see the server by name and
possibly map to it, to avoid having a connection issue in the future
when the IP address changes again?

Does anyone know of available software or is it possible to configure
the VPN somehow to resolve addresses on the private side.

Any advice would be appreciated
