If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
The J4858B ProCurve SX LC mini GBIC will work on SX fibre using LC
connections up to 550m depending on cable used. Your 3400 will
communicate to the Cisco 2950SX through the above mentioned GBIC. if
the Cisco switch has SC connectors you will need SC - LC patch cables
to convert.
