No the old cable modem will work fine, UNLESS you have a real old RCA
DCM model 105 OR model 205. In that case they will no longer stay
synched and you need to get a new one. Of course I called last week
and they told me mine was okay, this week they(a DIFFERENT they) telll
me it won't work. I am having to reset all the time to keep connected.
