If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
So today one of our clients complains that they can not access their VPN.
I take a look at their VPN setup. Everything is fine except for RAS
Connection Manager Service
which refuses to be shutdown. Tried to shut it down with ":net stop" as well
as taskkill.
RAS Auto Connection Manager isn't running at all. Can't shutdown Telephony
either.
the funny thing is that RAS Connection Manager is set to Manual but on
restart it shows as running.
I got a strong filling that this is the problem. All th critical updates are
installed on the server. Event Log
is clear.
Any ideas on how to fix the situation are appreciated.
