Hi,

I am wanting to add the same "real servers" to 2 different VIP's on an
Alteon 180e, as below.

VIP 1 10.0.0.1 port 110 -
Group 1
-- "real server 1" 10.0.1.1 port 110
-- "real server 2" 10.0.1.2 port 110

VIP 2 10.0.0.2 port 110 -
Group 2 (or not, can be Group 1 but preferably a differnet
group)
-- "real server 1" 10.0.1.1 port 110
-- "real server 2" 10.0.1.2 port 110

Please any help would be greatly appreciated as I am new to the
Alteon's.

Thanks
Fred

This is possible but you have to enable direct access mode first,
"/cfg/slb/adv/dir en". Either that or give your real servers secondary
IPs and use those for group 2.
