I will be signing up for Comcast high-speed internet,
and I want to use a Linksys BEFCMU10 Ver 3 cable modem,
which is approved by them.

>From other postings I see that it is important to use
the BEFCMU10 Version 3 .... but internel merchants I have
looked at either do not specify which version of the
BEFCMU10 they are selling, or they specify Version 2.

Can someone tell me an interenet retailer that specifically
sells the BEFCMU10 Version 3?

Thanx!

Office Depot usually carries them. Also, Amazon.com has them for $66.xx
plus shipping.

Amazon also has the Motorola SB 5100 for $67.xx plus shipping

Several months ago, the Version 3 was the only version carried by CompUSA.
I'd be surprised if any Internet retailer still has the Version 2 in stock.
If they do, it's been sitting in stock for over a year. -Dave
