It would be perhaps the minimum length of the collision fragment,
including preamble and jam signal.
In the figure B-1 page 509 of 802.3-2005, in the reverse direction,
the repeater set 1 sends this fragment to DTE 2, and it makes the
worst-case condition to determine the minimum frame length.
But we are in 1980-1983!
