Hello everyone!

I'm studying telecommunication billing and communication between
switches. Admittedly I'm still new in this field.

The thing is that I got some switch vendors that use Ericson & Siemens
cdr (Call Detail Records ?). So I have raw data encoded using ASN.1
definition.

In order to decode this file I have decided to use ASN.1 compiler
(ASN1C) that can generate source code for decoding purposes.

To my surprise, the compiler requires ASN.1 definition file as an
input and the vendors claim that they don't have this file. Claiming
that it is something standard that can be found online. Yet, here I am
after few weeks and still without the file.

Realy, really appreciate pointers and suggestion on how to proceed,
for instance where I can get the file online or who to approach.

If anyone have the definition files (both Siemens & Ericson) , please
send it my way (h a r i s h a s h i m # g m a

Best regards,
Haris
