We currently have a 6 months Contract to hire opportunity for a VoIP
Software Developer with our direct telecom client located in Sterling,
VA. This position starts immediately!!
Job Description:
=95 Looking for a candidate with strong technical skills to develop VOIP
related provisioning systems.
=95 Responsible for working with the Software Engineering manager,
Business Development group, and end Customers to help develop
applications and infrastructure for VOIP Programs.
=95 Must have experience designing and building enterprise class
provisioning systems and some understanding of the telecom domain.
=95 Must be able to look at the =93big picture=94 and have a forward-lookin=
g
attitude with vision to develop new, innovative services using new and
evolving technologies.
Required skills:
=95 5+ years experience developing complex software systems
=95 Expertise in JAVA, J2EE, Oracle, OO Methodology, SOAP/WSDL
=95 Knowledgeable of protocols such as SIP, ENUM, TLS, etc is preferred.
=95 Complete development life cycle experience from design through
implementation.
=95 Creative, flexible, and able to fill multiple functions with
development teams
=95 Proven track record of successfully designing and developing
enterprise class systems with stringent availability, performance and
SLA requirements.
=95 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
=95 Experience in telecommunications or data networking
=95 UNIX or Linux expertise preferred
=95 Knowledge of database concepts preferred
=95 BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
